Art. Nature. Home

Inspired by the landscapes that define Muskoka - and the artists who captured them.

At Campus Trails, every building begins with a story.

Our community takes its name from the landscapes that surround us - and from the artists who first brought those landscapes to life on canvas. Set in the heart of Huntsville, within the same region that inspired the Group of Seven, Campus Trails is rooted in a deep connection to place.

Each of our buildings is named in honour of iconic Canadian artists whose work helped shape how we see the North today. Their legacy isn’t just referenced - it’s carried through in how this community has been designed, built, and experienced.

Inspired by Canadian Masters

Four buildings. Four artists. One shared connection to this landscape.

At Campus Trails, our buildings are named for artists who captured the spirit of Muskoka, Algonquin, and the surrounding region - places that remain just as powerful and inspiring today.

● The Alexander - Named for A.Y. Jackson, known for his bold interpretations of the Canadian wilderness

● The Tom - Honouring Tom Thomson, whose work in Algonquin Park became a defining symbol of Canadian art

● The Emily - Recognizing Emily Carr, celebrated for her expressive landscapes and connection to nature

● The Lawren - Named for Lawren Harris, whose work distilled the North into striking, modern forms

Together, these names reflect more than history - they represent a shared appreciation for the land, and a commitment to building within it thoughtfully.

Designed for Where We Are

Campus Trails isn’t just located in Huntsville - it’s shaped by it. From the natural trail systems that connect the community, to the positioning of each building within the landscape, every decision has been made with the surroundings in mind. This is a place where architecture doesn’t compete with nature - it works alongside it. The result is a community that feels grounded, intentional, and connected to the Muskoka lifestyle so many come here to enjoy.

Building More Than a Community

The Campus Trails Legacy Fund - a commitment that grows with every suite.

Campus Trails was built with a long-term vision for Huntsville - not just as a place to live, but as a place to give back.

In 2021, Greystone president Pat Dube established the Campus Trails Legacy Fund, a community initiative supporting the Huntsville Hospital Foundation and the continued strength of local healthcare. The fund began with the first condominium at Campus Trails - The Tom in 2021. With a pledged $1,000 donation for every suite sold in the suite owners’ name, the Campus Trails Legacy Fund has contributed a total of $117,000 as of July 2025 - a number that continues to grow with the community itself.

● The Tom - $30,000 (2021)

● The Alexander - $39,000 (2023)

● The Emily - $39,000 (2025)
