The inspiration and vision for this multi-phased wellness community centres around a focus on local wellness, culture and community and the positive connections to the surrounding nature of Huntsville.  The concept to combine mixed residences, convenient healthcare services and offer modern wellness amenities in Huntsville was born 13 years ago and created by Greystone's founder Pat Dubé. 
In 2017 Pat acquired a beautiful 32-acre wooded parcel of land beside the existing Hospital just north of Muskoka Road 3 in Huntsville. The lush mixed forest, exposed granite and scenic elevation was a perfect setting for hiking and basking in the tranquility of the natural landscape just outside of downtown.  Like many in our community at that time Pat recognized that retaining our hospital and supporting local health care was imperative for continued sustainable growth our community for years to come and he wanted to support the cause. 
The original vision began back in 2008 when he helped form the Business Cares Group to raise funding to support the Huntsville Hospital Foundation. In addition, he vowed to help support local long-term care and assist Fairvern's Nursing Residence by donating approximately 5 acres to provide a much needed new home for an expanded facility on the same land thus integrating Fairvern in this Campus of Care.
Fast forward through much planning and design work to 2021 and the vision has now become a reality with the upcoming completion of Campus Trails' Phase 1 construction including THE TOM the first 30 unit condominium and the first of two Wellness Centre facilities offering on-site family physician, pharmacy, physiotherapy, chiropractic and massage services.

With THE TOM condo sold out and occupancy commencing in summer 2021 we've begun planning the Alexander Condominium next door. Phase 2 will bring three total condominiums and add additional wellness amenities and services to the community.
